Breaking Down
I broke down yesterday in the middle of the snack food isle of Walmart. Looking back on it, it seems that I was just overreacting. But seriously, who doesn’t love food? I do, that’s for certain. And being told that my body is carbohydrate resistant is a pretty big blow for my diet. What doesn’t have many carbs, you might ask? Well, there is cheese, pickles, olives, and chicken broth. Along with meat. So meat will be made a huge substance of my daily meals.
But all that oily, snacking goodness has to be cut out. Any type of chips, pretzels, hell, even yogurt. All up in the 20 carbohydrates per serving. And servings are pretty damn small for carbohydrates. Not to mention bread, pasta, rice, and fruit. All up in the carbohydrates. However, it does explain how I lost about thirty pounds in a month and a half when I was only eating five carbohydrates a day, in the beginning of seventh grade.
Anyway, I’ve signed up for a March Nanowrimo on Gaia Online. Which, I’d like to state, I only use for their Writer’s Forum. So far, I think there is about seven of us doing it. Bound to be fun.
And I’m so not looking forward to the OBGYN’s office on Valentine’s Day.
